Announcing Antipole DX

Body

Our next game will be Antipole DX, an enhanced remake of Antipole, for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U! Antipole DX features all new graphics, sound effects, and music. The original levels will be improved and new levels will be added. The game will feature online leaderboards for speed runs and Miiverse integration.

Antipole DX

Overview

Antipole DX is a remake of the original Antipole. This new version features completely new graphics, sound effects, and music. This version builds upon the original game, adding new levels, improved boss battles, and online leaderboards.

Antipole DX features fast paced platforming action based on gravity manipulation. Reverse gravity in the area around you for short periods of time to climb higher and jump further. Anything caught in the altered gravity area is affected as well - enemies, objects, and even acid pools will fall along the new direction of gravity. Use your gravity powers to fling enemies. Run along the ceiling to avoid obstacles. Manipulate gravity to solve puzzles.

Turtle Tale Status Update

Body

Turtle Tale has been approved by Nintendo of America for release on the 3DS eShop. There's still a little bit of work to be done before the game is ready for release. It shouldn't be too much longer before the game is available in America.

The European release will probably be out a little later than the American release. Nintendo of Europe found a small issue with the European verison. We'll be submitting an updated version shortly.

While Nintendo has been testing the 3DS version of the game, we've been busy creating a Wii U version. We've been making fast progress and hope to be able to submit it to Nintendo around the end of April.

Turtle Tale Submitted to Lot Check

Body

Turtle Tale was recently submitted to Nintendo of America's Lot Check for testing. We're currently hoping for an early spring release. We've also released a new batch of screenshots. We've included a few here. You can click here to view the rest.

Name the Turtle Contest!

Body

Ever want to name a video game character? Now's your chance! We've teamed up with Nintendo Okie to run a contest to decide the name of the turtle in our upcoming 3DS eShop game, Turtle Tale.

From now until May 31st you can submit name ideas through a number of various outlets. You can go to Twitter and tweet your ideas to @SaturnineGames and @Nintendo_Okie. Be sure to include #nametheturtle in your post. You can send an email to nametheturtle@nintendo-okie.com. If you’ve got a Facebook account you can go to the Saturnine Games page or the Nintendo Okie Facebook Group and submit your ideas there. Entries can be submitted through all of the various means, but please don’t spam the same name to them all, be creative.

The top four entries chosen will receive a download code for Saturnine Games’ DSiWare release of Antipole. The winner will also get to have their entry become the official name of the turtle in their upcoming eShop release, Turtle Tale; and get a special mention in the game’s credits. You’ll have bragging rights amongst your friends from now until the time when video games no longer exist.

The contest is open to anyone that wants to enter, but download codes for the games will only be available if you live in North America. Entries may not contain any vulgar, insulting or derogatory terms. You also waive the right to any monetary compensation and the official name becomes the property of Saturnine Games. All entries must be received by 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time on May 31st, 2013. Employees of Saturnine Games, Nintendo Okie and their families are not eligible to win.
